Hey There

We are glad you stopped by. What started as a personal blog in 2018 has blossomed into an unlikely opportunity to connect people virtually, with the hopes of building life long connections in real life.

All About Us

PettitCherrie, the blog, started in October 2018 as a personal lifestyle blog I used to document my life experiences, opinions on current affairs, and anything else I found interesting.

It served as a great creative outlet for me, and a medium to engage with like-minded people about topics that really mattered.

It has been a great three years on the blog, but it soon enough, it was time to pivot.

With the 2020 Pandemic disrupting everything we had ever relied on to build meaningful connections with each other, increasing demand for virtual spaces developed where people could still share, create, work and pray together.

However, if we are honest, people have been longing for an authentic community for years. As social media continues to dominate all industries, conversations, and social circles, people are becoming more individualistic and keeping to themselves more often.

That was never the biblical approach though. Though it is true that we can gain a lot from being alone and introspective, we can gain all the more in a strong, safe, community. The Saintly Social aspires to break the status quo of social alienation by grafting people offline, in order to connect them offline.

Cue in The Saintly Social.

We want you to know that you are not alone. We see your need for inclusion, acceptance and support. We understand your cry for authenticity and integrity within your social circles. We aim to provide a space for all that and more, so that you can feel empowered to get out there, connect with people, and "clique different."

So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
